JSWR Journal continues to accept articles for the July 2025 issue. The article publication format of JSWR Journal has been updated. You can access the new format from the relevant pages of the journal. There is no format requirement for the initial submission. For the initial submission, authors should send their texts in Word document format using Times New Roman 12-point font as plain text (the reference style for the initial submission should be APA07). | Aim and Scope | Purpose
The purpose of the Journal of Social Work Research (JSWR) is to contribute to the production of scientific knowledge through research covering all aspects of social services, social policy, and social welfare, and to advance theoretical understanding and ensure its application in practice. In this context, the journal aims to publish research articles, case studies, reviews, book reviews, and other works. Scope JSWR includes studies that provide information on all issues and problems within the scope of social work and social policy science. The basic criterion is that the research is focused on the social work profession. The topics covered by the journal include: social policy, family, children, women, youth, migrants, poverty, unemployment, disability, aging, social welfare, social policy, substance abuse, sexual abuse, human rights, etc. * JSWR is published three times a year in March, July, and November. Articles are published in Turkish and/or English. |
