| Info of Journal | The journal, which began publication as a peer-reviewed scientific journal in 2010 by the General Directorate of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, has published approximately 140 articles to date. The journal, which continued its publication in print and electronic formats with the ISSN number 1309-1972, decided to publish only electronically as of 2023 and continues its publication with the e-ISSN number 2980-3640. | Aim and Scope | The Journal of Health Performance and Quality (SPKD) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal designed to address and encourage studies conducted within the scope of the health system, health policies, health performance, and quality in a scientific environment. SPKD’s publication ethics policy is based on the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in open access. One of the most important tools and indicators of development and progress is the health level of society. The effects of globalization have fundamentally changed society and social structures, making continuous development a necessity in the field of health as well. As a result of major investments in the health sector in our country, steps taken towards achieving targets, and activities carried out steadily with the aim of creating a culture of quality in health, we have achieved a globally recognized health system structure. We must aim to be a pioneer rather than a follower in the development of health service delivery and constantly strive for better. To this end, we are focusing on efforts to make our healthcare system traceable, comparable, and accountable. We are implementing important programs aimed at developing a culture of measurement and evaluation at the global, national, and institutional levels. In accordance with its publication policy, our journal covers healthcare policies, healthcare systems, healthcare service evaluation, and performance in the healthcare sector.
