We look forward to your quality work appearing in our 2026 issues. Sincerely, OUR JOURNAL IS PUBLISHED THREE ISSUES ANNUALLY (APRIL, AUGUST, DECEMBER). Academic Sensitivities is an internationally refereed journal and is indexed by TR Index (ULAKBIM), EBSCO, SOBIAD, ASOS INDEX, ROAD INDEX and BASE INDEX. Academic Sensitivities, published in 2014, is an open-access journal presenting studies in the social sciences based on “THOUGHTS.” Published work is expected to contribute not only academically but also to the field of originality and intellectual inquiry. Our journal includes academic studies, compilations and book reviews, all analyses and evaluations related to the field, and both quantitative and qualitative research in the fields of Social Sciences. The journal’s languages are Turkish and English. In special circumstances, our journal may also be published as a “Special Issue.” The publication of a special issue covering a specific topic is decided by a simple majority vote of the Editorial Board. Ethics Committee Approval is required for studies to be published in accordance with the TR Index 2020 criteria. For articles to be published in our journal, information regarding the relevant Ethics Committee Approval (committee, date, number) must be included in the method section for studies requiring ethics committee approval.

| Aim and Scope | The Journal of Academic Sensitivities is a scientific, peer-reviewed journal that aims to critically analyze “thought-based” studies in the Social Sciences, drawing from diverse perspectives and ideas, and to produce high-quality, intellectual, and current academic work. Our journal covers all disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. It is crucial that the studies be based on intellectual and critical concepts, rather than focusing on the specific field of study within the social sciences. Therefore, our journal aims to generate new and original ideas in all studies contributing to the literature. As a result of this objective, we have created a superior resource that produces high-impact studies in the Social Sciences and benefits from open access for numerous national and international followers, academics, and students.
Our journal, which has been published since 2014, publishes three issues per year (April, August, and December). Articles submitted to our journal must not have been published elsewhere or submitted for publication. After completing the secretarial process, articles submitted to our journal are evaluated by the editors for their scientific merit. A blind refereeing process is then implemented. If the referee reports are positive, the paper is published by the editorial board’s decision; if one of the referees reports negatively, the paper is sent to a third referee. In this case, the third referee’s evaluation determines whether the paper will be published. Once the publication decision is made, the paper is placed in the publication queue. Each author is obligated to consider correction and improvement requests submitted by the journal board. Authors are not paid royalties for published work. The author(s) acknowledge that the article is original, that they accept legal and ethical responsibility for the conclusions and interpretations presented in the article, and that the Journal of Academic Sensitivities bears no responsibility for them in any way. The author(s) acknowledge that the article will not be submitted, in whole or in part, to any other publication during the evaluation process at the Journal of Academic Sensitivities, and that it has not been previously published. They acknowledge that all author(s) contributed to the planning, preparation, research, and analysis of the study. The text, figures, illustrations, findings, and conclusions of the article are in accordance with academic publication rules and are free of plagiarism. They waive all copyrights to the submitted article and, assuming full responsibility, transfer publication rights to the Journal of Academic Sensitivities, subject to all intellectual property rights. |
