AIM & SCOPE
We are the owners and/or editors of the journals who, through a structured and team-oriented working model, aim to carry out the scientific publishing activities in our publishing organizations in a sustainable and high-quality manner.
OJOP is open to all scientific journals across the globe, international, national, and local.
The Online Scientific Journal Publishers Platform was created for the cooperation, solidarity, integration, accreditation, and coordination process among scientific journals. OJOP also aims to provide sustainable shared analyses and standards against the standards determined by universities and university supreme committees, boards and/or organizations and against the criteria that they are exposed to in the index and directory processes.
PRINCIPLES and CRITERIA of OJOP
Our platform was developed with a reader/writer/editor-friendly infrastructure, within the framework of ethics and law, with an understanding of governance, in order to harmonize with the accreditation conditions regarding directories and ensure that the conditions for academic promotions and appointments are regulated in a way that is not against the publishers all over the world.
We established OJOP to improve scientific digital publishing in the world. (https://www.ojop.org/) At OJOP, our objective is to find solutions to the following issues :
1. Accreditations in scientific publications,
2. Standardizations in scientific publications,
3. Transparency of processes in scientific publishing,
5. Sustainability principles in scientific publishing,
6. Ethical principles and principles in scientific publishing,
7. Optimum search for lower and upper limit values in scientific publishing, etc.
Based on these principles, we decided to establish an international index based in Türkiye, with the participation of our partner journals.
OJOP (Online Scientific Journal Publishers and Editors Platform) is a platform and union founded in 2019 for cooperation, solidarity, integration, and accreditation between online scientific journals and book publishers formed by online journals and book publishers.
We aimed to harmonize with the accreditation conditions of other directories, particularly TR Index, and to ensure that the conditions for academic promotions and assignments are arranged in a way that will not disadvantage the publishers.
Our Indexing Service
OJOP; consists of publishers who have come together to create an international index. For this reason, this initiative, formulated to provide Turkey with a respected INDEX in scientific and cultural terms, continues its activities in accordance with the principles of transparency, governance, ethical principles, rule of law, and pluralistic and participatory management.
We currently have more than 100 scientific journal publishers and editor stakeholders/members, and with this quantitative strength, we have started our international indexing process. We invite the owners and editors of online scientific journals, who have not yet joined our platform , to join us in order to bring Turkey a respected index in the international scientific community.
The Online Journal Platform and Indexing Association (OJOP) will provide indexing and accreditation in collaboration with the ICAM network , following an evaluation guideline based on objective, pluralistic and integrated cross-referencing methods. OJOP operates a listing system developed in accordance with pluralistic and integrated cross-evaluation methods.
