Basic Field of Theology

– Studies that pass the preliminary review stage will be submitted to the advisory board for evaluation and will be scored.

-After the review phase, which will last 15 days from the end of the publication acceptance period, the top 25 studies receiving the highest scores will be included in the evaluation process, in which at least two reviewers will be involved, within the framework of the double-blind review principle.

– The process of the works that do not enter the top 25 in the ranking will be terminated and will not be processed again in the same publication period.

– In articles with multiple authors, the document declaring the author contribution rates must be signed by the parties and uploaded as an additional file along with the article.

– For submitted book reviews, an abstract, keywords, and a bibliography must be included. The work being reviewed must have been published within the last five years.

– In studies produced from thesis, the author’s name must appear first.

– In submitted studies, the conformity of the text with the ISNAD 2nd version must be checked manually.

– In studies requiring ethics committee approval, it is important to upload the relevant document to the system along with the article.

Journal of Academic Research in Religious Sciences is an internationally refereed journal published biannual, in March (Article acceptance period: November 1 – December 1) and September (Article acceptance period: May 1 – June 1). The journal aims to publish and share with the public studies such as articles, book reviews, and symposium reviews in the field of religious studies (Social Sciences and Humanities/Religion). Articles submitted for publication are subject to a double-blind peer-review by at least two referees. Plagiarism detection software confirms that the articles have not been published previously and are plagiarism-free. Each published article contributes points to the “International Article” category, which is requested by the Interuniversity Board Presidency in the “Basic Field of Theology” associate professorship application requirements.
