| Aim and Scope | The Journal of Old Turkish Literature Researches, which was established in March 2018 in order to include articles, papers, evaluations, introductions, etc. of valuable scientists, to ensure that academic studies reach a wide audience, to support young researchers, and thus to contribute to the field of Classical Turkish Literature, continues its publication life as an ‘International Refereed Field Indexed Journal’. Our main aim is to try to fill the gap in this field and to increase the alternatives. The Journal of Old Turkish Literature Researches has been published four issues a year (30 MARCH, 30 JUNE, 30 SEPTEMBER, 30 DECEMBER) since 2022. Apart from the specified periods, it can also be published as a special issue if deemed appropriate by the editorial board. The journal must comply with the publication schedule, and if it does not comply, it can be reported to Dergipark. The scope of the journal is only the studies belonging to the field of Old Turkish Literature, and the fields of Turkish-Islamic Literature, Arabic Language and Literature, Persian Language and Literature, Old Anatolian Turkish, which are close to this department, are also partially included in this scope. (If deemed appropriate only in special issues, articles belonging to other branches of literature such as New Turkish Literature, Turkish Folk Literature can also be accepted.) Classical ghazal commentary studies are not included. The Journal of Old Turkish Literature Studies complies with the criteria of YÖK Associate Professorship criteria and Academic Incentive Regulation and is an international refereed and field indexed journal that has been operating continuously for 8 years. The articles to be submitted to the journal must not have been published on other platforms before. Studies presented at symposiums or congresses can be published in the journal provided that they are stated in the footnote and successfully complete the referee process. In studies produced from theses, priority is given to the unpublished thesis. Articles produced from published theses, duplicate studies are not included in the journal. Articles previously submitted to other journals and rejected/unrejected articles should be notified to the editor while submitting to the journal. If noticed, the journal reserves the right to stop the article processes. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must comply with the REGULATION ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION ETHICS OF INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION published in the Official Gazette. All legal responsibility for the manuscripts that violate Research and Publication Ethics belongs to the author. |
