Aim and Scope |
The Journal of Folklore Academy is an internationally refereed journal published three times a year. Abbreviated as FAD, the journal’s aim is to develop new perspectives in all branches of the social and human sciences (literature, educational sciences and field education, theology, communication, geography, history, linguistics, psychology, anthropology, philosophy, philology, musicology, fine arts, sociology, archaeology, etc.), particularly in folklore, and to publish new and original articles, compilations, introductory articles, and translations that contribute to the field. Furthermore, with a transnational philosophy, it aims to recognize the world’s cultural data as the common heritage of humanity and to convey historical and/or contemporary information to the public using academic style and scientific methods. FAD aims to meet academic needs by reaching national and international academic communities through user-friendly web software and open and online publishing capabilities. This aims to be scanned by more databases and indexes, provide unlimited access to scholars and readers, and increase broader impact and referencing in the field. Scientific originality is essential in the articles to be published in the Folklore Academy Journal. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been published anywhere else before. (If submissions are based on theses or oral presentations at national/international congresses, this must be clearly stated.) The article author(s) are primarily responsible for the content of the publications in question. Authors must use Word format when uploading their articles to the system and must not include any personal information in the file. |
