Dear researchers, due to the high volume of articles submitted to our journal, including many submitted after March 2025 , if the processes are completed and accepted, they will be published in 2026 at the earliest . Please do not insist on accelerating the processes .

Manuscripts submitted to our journal are first reviewed by the editor in the order of their submission and subject matter , and the peer-review decision is made based on the editor’s opinion.

Manuscripts that have completed the evaluation process are accepted for publication based on their evaluation deadline, type, and scope. During periods of high volume of similar work, the editor may assign accepted manuscripts to another issue, regardless of their date of publication.

Therefore, we would like to reiterate that manuscripts submitted to GTAD should not be proposed for publication in any particular issue. 

Because the process of submitting articles for publication requires sufficient time to properly process, a maximum of 15 articles can be published in an issue. However, it has been decided that, to the extent possible, studies related to tourism , which fall within the scope of “technology, women and families, individuals with disabilities, current developments of close concern to society (epidemics, disasters, war, etc.),  and sociology,” will be excluded from the 15 articles and published . 

Dear researchers,

Due to the high demand for the journal, the editorial board has decided to include a maximum of 15 articles in each issue, starting with the fall 2021 issue.

Important announcement:

Articles proposed for publication in accordance with TR Index criteria must receive ethics committee approval and be documented . Therefore, authors proposing articles for publication in our journal must submit an ethics committee approval form for studies requiring an ethics committee approval .
