İhya International of Islamic Studies

IHYA Uluslararası İslam Araştırmaları Dergisi – Journal of International Islamic Studies aims to publish scientific research such as papers, book reviews and symposium reviews on religious studies and to share these studies with public. Ihya  provides articles written by qualified specialists in the area of Islamic Studies (Scope: Arts and Humanities/Religion/Islamic Studies & Scope: Social and Behavioral Sciences/ Theology and Ethics). It continues to publish compelling original research articles that contribute to the development of scholarly understanding and interpretation in the history and philosophy of religious thought in all traditions and periods – including the areas of Islamic Studies.

IHYA  is a peer-reviewed Journal published twice a year as July and January. The Journal aims to contribute religious, theological, and social studies by publishing original academic works meeting international scientific criteria. The Journal publishes articles in Turkish, English, and Arabic.

This journal uses double-blind peer review. Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers. There are at least three reviewers for the total number of articles in each issue. In addition, all articles are checked by means of a program in order to confirm they are not published before and avoid plagiarism.
The Scope of the Journal:

Basic Islamic Sciences: The Quran, Hadith, Exegesis, Islamic Jurisprudence, Kalam, History of Islamic Sects, Sufism, and Arabic Language and Literature;

Philosophy and Religious Sciences: Islamic Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Logic, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Education of Religion, and History of Religions;

Islamic History and Arts: Islamic History, History of Islamic Arts, Turkish-Islamic Literature, and Religious Music.
