Info of Journal  The Journal of Research in Informal Environments is an open access and peer reviwed journal which publishes manuscripts relating to teaching-learning activities in informal settings and the effects of these settings on different variables. JRIE also welcomes distinctive maniuscripts that includes review of  book or article(s). All the manuscripts must be submited electronicly via onine submission system. The journal considers research studies for publication submitted by scientists from all disciplines.
Aim and Scope  The aim of our journal is to contribute to the sharing of studies conducted in informal settings in national and international literature. In this context, it is open to all researches, reviews and other kinds of studies conducted by all stakeholders in the field such as academicians, teachers, museum/science center educators.

The scope of our journal includes qualitative, quantitative and mixed-type original research, reviews and case studies in informal settings. The cognitive, affective and kinesthetic contributions of informal environments in out-of-school learning, ranging from the schoolyard to science centers, museums and hospitals, are our priority areas. In addition, studies on the effects of informal environments on lifelong learning for the general public are also within the scope of our journal.
