- We recommend that OJOP journals increase their rejection rates while keeping the number of articles in their issues constant, rather than closing their systems to article submissions, in order to increase their impact and Q values.
- Q-group journals, especially the majority of Q1 journals, have acceptance rates in the 10-30% range. (Generally, in Q journals, acceptance rates range from 5% to 30% depending on the Q1, 2, or 3 status. To be included in this group, it is recommended that they establish policy frameworks in his direction.
- Regardless of the number of issues published annually, for journals publishing a total of 20 articles in a year, we recommend that the editorial board consist of at least 20 members, excluding the scientific/advisory and review committees. For journals publishing 50 articles, the editorial board should have at least 30 members, and for those publishing 100 or more articles, the editorial board should have at least 30 members.
- Journals that publish 100 or more articles in a year may also be recommended to switch to continuous publication as an alternative. The DergiPark system is expected to be made suitable by the end of the year. 237 / 5.000 The change in period must be announced to the authors one year in advance. (This rule should be understood as the period foreseen for the reduction in the number of periods. Because period reductions may cause deprivation of rights for the authors.)
- We have requested that our OJOP journals create the cover, title page, table of contents, and back cover sections in the full issue files.
- We have requested that the bibliographic information section in the article file be structured to include the information required by international standards. We have requested that an Ethics Standards and Compliance section be added before the references.
- We kindly request that the journals scanned in our database be notified to the OJOP Platform by sending their mobile phones, including at least two delegates from each journal (publisher, editor-in-chief, editor, assistant editor, publication editor, or index editor level), to info@ojop.org.
- We kindly request that you do not miss the educational webinars organized by OJOP so that they can conduct the publication processes of our journals more consciously.
