| Aim and Scope | Published in July 2017, Tarih ve Günce is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original and scientific studies in the fields of Modern History and the History of the Republic of Turkey. Tarih ve Günce aims to contribute to contemporary historical research in related fields and to provide an academic platform.
The publication policy of History and Chronicle is based on bringing together scientific studies written in accordance with scientific methods and ethical principles in the relevant fields with the scientific world. Scientific studies written in accordance with the writing and publication rules of History and Chronicle are first subject to a preliminary review by the editor. Studies that pass this stage are evaluated by at least two independent experts through a blind review system. Articles accepted at the end of the evaluation process are published after final approval by the editor and the editorial board. No fees are charged to authors at any stage of the publication process. Tarih ve Günce is published twice a year in January and July and features scientific studies in Turkish, English, German and French. A language editor specialising in each language is assigned to ensure that the scientific and linguistic quality of the works published in each language is maintained at the highest level. In addition, each work to be published in the journal is submitted with a short abstract and keywords prepared by the author.
