UTÖAD is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original theoretical and applied research articles, reports, publications, and scientific event reviews and evaluations in the fields of teaching Turkish as a foreign language, second language, and native language, as well as teaching Turkish to bilinguals and people of Turkish descent.

UTÖAD is published three times a year exclusively in electronic format, and also prepares special issues on specific topics such as academic Turkish and specialized Turkish.

Aim and Scope  The aim of the International Journal of Turkish Language Teaching Research (UTÖAD) is to contribute to the universal knowledge base in this field by creating a high-quality publication platform where academic studies written from an interdisciplinary perspective on Turkish language teaching, which has been gaining importance as an independent discipline in recent years both in Turkey and abroad, can be shared with interested parties.
