Info of Journal  The Journal of Political Psychology (JPP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, and theoretical contributions in the interdisciplinary field of political psychology. The journal aims to explore the psychological mechanisms underlying political behavior, identity, attitudes, decision-making, leadership, ideology, nationalism, polarization, and collective memory.
Published biannually (in June and December), JPP follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic rigor and objectivity.
Aim and Scope  Aims
Understanding national and international political and social phenomena through the lens of psychology—within the framework of change and continuity—has become increasingly significant. In this context, The Journal of Political Psychology primarily aims to explore and articulate the interaction between political and psychological processes.
In addition to this core objective, the journal is committed to publishing scientific studies that fall within the epistemological, methodological, theoretical, and cultural scope of social and political psychology. It welcomes contributions that analyze, explain, and discuss social, political, economic, and cultural issues from different regions of the world.By featuring articles in political science, international relations, economics, business, sociology, philosophy, social psychology, and clinical psychology, the journal seeks to enrich academic knowledge across these disciplines. Another central goal of the journal is to contribute to the theoretical and methodological development of the field, fostering new perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches.

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Political Psychology are subject to a double-blind peer-review process and must adhere to academic and scientific ethical standards. The journal embraces an open access policy to support the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the enrichment of the public intellectual sphere.
