Info of Journal  Müzikist Academic Journal is an open-access, international, and peer-reviewed journal published electronically by the Müzikist Institute—part of the Müzikist Association—twice a year (in April and October).
Aim and Scope  Müzikist Academic Journal is an international, peer-reviewed journal that aims to contribute to the advancement of music studies by publishing original work across various disciplines of music research. It fosters innovative research in fields such as music education, musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory, performance studies, music technologies, and related areas.
The journal prioritizes work centered on multiculturalism, inclusivity, a rights-based approach, and the nature-music nexus, while also featuring practices from the civil sphere. In doing so, it aims to contribute not only to the scientific aspects of music research but also to its social, cultural, and ecological dimensions.

It welcomes critical and analytical approaches, as well as fieldwork conducted via qualitative and quantitative methods, theoretical analyses, and applied studies. Its core mission is to encourage international collaboration among a diverse range of contributors—from early-career researchers to established experts in the field—and to provide an inclusive, accessible academic platform.
