| Info of Journal | Tourism, whose economic, social, and cultural importance is increasing daily, constitutes a significant force that can be leveraged to advance the rapidly growing and developing Turkic World. To maximize the contributions that tourism can make to the progress and integration of the Turkic World, it is beneficial to examine the subject from a multi-dimensional perspective. Therefore, with the aim of encouraging academic research into the development perspectives of tourism in the Turkic World, the Kastamonu University Faculty of Tourism’s International Journal of Turkic World Tourism Research, an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, commenced its activities in December 2015. The International Journal of Turkic World Tourism Research is indexed in: * SOBIAD, * ASOS Index, * Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources (ROAD), * Scientific Indexing Services, * Turkey Tourism Index.Tourism, whose economic, social, and cultural significance is increasing daily, constitutes a significant force that can be leveraged to advance the rapidly growing and developing Turkic World. To enhance tourism’s contributions to the progress and integration of the Turkic World, it is advisable to examine the matter in a multidimensional manner. Accordingly, to encourage academic research on the development perspectives of tourism in the Turkic World, the International Journal of Turkic World Tourism Research of Kastamonu University, Faculty of Tourism, commenced publication in December 2015 as an international, peer-reviewed journal issued twice a year. | Aim and Scope | The aim of the International Journal of Turkic World Tourism Research is to publish national and international academic studies in the light of science, providing academic contributions to professionals working in the field of tourism in the Turkic World, offering concrete suggestions to the sector in the field of practice, and acting as a bridge between theory and practice.
The scope of the International Journal of Turkic World Tourism Research includes research in tourism management, tourism guiding, travel management, gastronomy and culinary arts, and recreation management. |
