| Info of Journal | Addiction Science Reviews (ASREV) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, and rapidly peer-reviewed journal published online quarterly by Ebru Tansel. Published by Ebru Tansel on behalf of the Cyprus Institute of Mental Health, ASREV aims to share knowledge, experience, and discussions in the field of addiction sciences with the widest possible audience. The journal welcomes both applied scientific studies and theoretical research that challenge the boundaries of existing approaches by bridging the gap between addiction sciences and related disciplines, encompassing interdisciplinary and diverse fields. BBDD accepts articles on substance use and addiction, alcohol and tobacco addiction, technology, internet and gaming addiction, gambling and behavioral addictions, addiction prevention programs, addiction treatment and rehabilitation approaches, psychological counseling and therapy methods, neuroscience and psychophysiology in addiction, addiction studies in risk groups and young people, family and social environment effects, addiction policies and public health strategies, clinical research and case studies, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research in addiction, and other related disciplines. ASREV aims to present new and globally relevant research in its field to both academia and the wider public, thus becoming a dynamic platform for educational and consulting research. |
| Aim and Scope | The aim of the Addiction Science Reviews (ASREV) is to present and disseminate theoretical knowledge and applied scientific studies produced in the field of addiction sciences in Cyprus, Turkey, and worldwide, within the framework of scientific ethics and academic standards, and to create an interdisciplinary scientific sharing and discussion platform.Addiction Science Reviews publishes original research articles, review studies, case presentations, applied articles, original opinions offering new approaches and perspectives in the field of addiction, translations, letters and discussion papers, and book and thesis reviews prepared in disciplines related to substance use and addiction, alcohol and tobacco addiction, technology and internet addiction, gambling and behavioral addictions, addiction prevention programs, addiction treatment and rehabilitation approaches, psychological counseling, family and social environment effects, clinical research, and case studies.
As an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal, the Addiction Science Reviews adopts an interdisciplinary approach in the field of addiction sciences; it aims to increase scientific interaction and strengthen academic collaboration among different addiction and related sciences. Addiction Science Reviews (ASREV) recommends that authors adhere to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors’ (ICMJE) guidelines for conducting, reporting, editing, and publishing scientific work in medical journals; these guidelines are based on ethical principles, transparency, and academic integrity in scientific publishing. |
