Info of Journal  European Journal of Education and Counselling (EJEC) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal with a rapid peer-review system, published online quarterly by Ebru Tansel. Published by the Cyprus Institute of Mental Health, EJEC aims to share knowledge and discussions in the fields of education and psychological counseling by reaching the widest possible audience. The journal welcomes both applied scientific studies and theoretical research that challenge the boundaries of existing approaches by bridging the gap between education, psychological counseling, and related sciences, encompassing interdisciplinary and diverse disciplines. It accepts articles from a wide range of fields, including guidance and counselling, educational psychology, teacher education, educational administration, special education, lifelong learning, education, vocational counselling, career counselling, family education, instructional technologies, pedagogical training, educational policies, social work, and other related disciplines. EJEC aims to present new and globally relevant research to both academia and the wider public, thus becoming a dynamic platform for education and counselling research.
Aim and Scope  The aim of the European Journal of Education and Counseling (EJEC) is to present and disseminate theoretical knowledge and applied scientific studies produced in the fields of education and psychological counseling in Cyprus, Turkey, and worldwide, within the framework of scientific ethics and academic standards, and to create an interdisciplinary scientific sharing and discussion platform.The European Journal of Education and Counseling publishes original research articles, review studies, case presentations, articles on education and practice, original opinions offering new approaches and perspectives in the fields of education and psychological counseling, translations, letters and discussion articles, as well as book and thesis reviews, prepared in the fields of guidance and psychological counseling, educational psychology, teacher education, educational administration, special education, lifelong learning, education, vocational counseling, career counseling, family education, instructional technologies, pedagogical formation, educational policies, social work, and other related fields of education and psychological counseling.

As an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal, the European Journal of Education and Counseling adopts an interdisciplinary approach in the field of education and psychological counseling; it aims to increase scientific interaction and strengthen academic cooperation among different educational sciences.

The European Journal of Education and Consulting recommends that authors adhere to the Recommendations for Conducting, Reporting, Editing and Publishing Scientific Work in Medical Journals established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE); these guidelines are based on ethical principles, transparency and academic integrity in scientific publishing.
